Ronald A. Marshall


Merrimac — Ronald A. Marshall, 67, of Merrimac, Mass., died unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 6, 2013, at Beth-Israel in Boston, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 22 years to Janet (Anderer) Cloutier Marshall of Middleton, where they resided for many years.

Born in Lynn, January 26, 1946, he was one of three children of the late Leonard and Lillian (Iacovitti) Marshall. After graduating from Lynn Trade, Class of 1964, Ron went on to work for General Electric in Lynn, retiring after 34 years in 2007. After his retirement Ron enjoyed working part-time for the Middleton Housing Authority.

Ron and Janet along with many friends and family members enjoyed spending summers in York Beach, Maine and winters in Naples, Florida.

Ron loved life and lived each day to the fullest, he enjoyed playing pickleball, going to yard sales, learning about American History, and watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by three sons, Stephen, Sean, and wife, Kelly, and Lenny Marshall; three beloved step-children, Bill and wife, Lisa Cloutier, Denise Cloutier, and Danielle and T.J. Roberts; his seven grandchildren, who always brought him so much joy, Jacob and Catlin Marshall; Aiden Flynn; Caroline, Jacqui, Gabrielle and Trevor Cloutier; his sister, Sheila Marshall along with many nieces and nephews and dear friend, Pat Wallace. He was predeceased by his sister, Judy Keene.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to a “Celebration of life” held at Angelica’s Restaurant, 49 South Main Street, Route 114, Middleton, MA on Sunday, October 20 from 12:00-3:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac.
