Peabody — Joanne (O’Brien) Holzmann, 79, passed away on February 21, 2014, at Brooksby Village in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Francis G. Holzmann.
Born in Danvers on October 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Reynolds) O’Brien. She was raised and educated in Danvers, and graduated from Holten High School. Joanne had resided in Acton, North Andover and Haverhill, before retiring to Peabody.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Lisa and Pasquale Martello of Mamaroneck, N.Y., Sara and David Chin of Blooming Grove, N.Y., and Mark and Katherine Holzmann of Vallejo, Calif.; her siblings, Marie McLaughlin of Danvers, Mass., James O’Brien of Venice, Fla., and Paul O’Brien of Danvers, Mass.; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kathryn, Rebecca, and Emily; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m., on Tuesday, February 25, in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial is private.
