Danvers, formerly of Saugus — Mrs. Florence Eve (Gileau) Cooper, 99, of Danvers, formerly of Saugus, beloved wife of Wilfred Cooper, died on March 3, at Emeritus at Cherry Hill, Danvers.

Born in West Greenwich, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Gileau and Clara (Dumoulin) Gileau. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Florence was a resident of the town of Saugus for 49 years, until moving to Danvers. She was an active member of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Saugus, dedicating much time to the church activities. She was a member of the Saugus Emblem Club, and an avid traveler with her husband. She was a master of knitting, crocheting and sewing.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her loving husband of 63 years, Wilfred, Florence is survived by her daughter, Linda Cignetti and her husband, Robert, of Danvers; and a son, Paul Cooper and his wife, Linda, of Boxford; her grandchildren, Sharon Sangeleer, Peter Cignetti, Lyn Vercellone, Ian Cooper, and Lana Cooper; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Sangeleer, Dominik Cignetti, Leigha Cignetti, Gianna Vercellone, and Jerimiah Perry.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home will be on Friday, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
