Bernard W. Martin, 63


Harrison Maine — Bernard Witham Martin, 63, of Harrison, Maine and formerly of Peabody, MA, died suddenly on Friday, November 9th, after taking an ill turn at his residence. He was the devoted husband of Jo-Ann Patscheider-Martin.

He was born in Lynn, MA, on April 28, 1949, the son of the late Bernard and Carlene (Witham) Martin and was raised and educated in Peabody, graduating from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1967.

Bernard was employed in the construction industry throughout the North Shore for over 20 years prior to a disability retirement 17 years ago. He had resided in Harrison Maine for the past 10 years.

He enjoyed going fishing and hunting in the Maine woods and streams, watching Nascar racing and following the Boston sports on TV. He also had a love of his cats.

Besides his wife, Jo-Ann, he is survived by two daughters, Mallory Martin of Brighton, MA, and Shelby Martin of Harrison, Maine, a sister and brother-in-law, Maryanne and James Sirois of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael Martin.

ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 11 AM at the Family Lot in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Bernard W.
