Patricia M. McCarthy, 81


Topsfield — Mrs. Patricia M. (Leavitt) McCarthy passed away on Tuesday at the Masconomet Health Care Center surrounded by her family, she was 81. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Isabelle (Simpson) Leavitt. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence McCarthy. A retired nurse’s aid, she was active with the First Baptist Church in Beverly where she taught bible study. Patricia will be remembered as a generous, loving women who was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Gale McCarthy of Beverly; her sons, Scott McCarthy and his wife, Jane, of Wakefield and Glenn McCarthy of Beverly; her grandchildren, Sean, Taryn and Tracy; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kaylee and Alexa; as well as her brother, Thomas Leavitt of Beverly. In addition to her husband, Lawrence, she was predeceased by her sons, Sean, Craig and Brian McCarthy.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Monday at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
