Danvers — Miss Petrina “Peggy” Rose Santoro, 86, of Danvers, died Tuesday morning, October 17, 2013.
Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Terranova) Santoro. She received her education in the Beverly School System and graduated from Beverly High School.
Miss Santoro had been employed for thirty years for the New England Telephone Company until the time of her retirement.
A resident of Danvers for over sixty years, she enjoyed swimming at the YMCA in Danvers and caring for her nieces and nephews. She was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister and aunt who will be admired and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her brother, Peter Santoro and his wife, Eleanor, of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Carmalina (Nellie) Walsh and her husband, Joseph.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers, Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
