Anna B. Gosselin, 91


Beverly, MA — Anna B. Allard Petersen Gosselin, age 91, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct. 26, 2013, in Danvers, Mass., at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. Born in Seekonk, Mass., on August 27, 1922, she was the daughter of Alexander and Viola Ladish. She lived in Massachusetts her entire life and for many years was a caregiver for the elderly.

Anna is survived by 11 children and 51 grandchildren, including great- and great-great-grandchildren. As the family matriarch she was the glue that held her family together and always will be. She enjoyed her travels with her Airstream friends. She also enjoyed cooking, crafts, and Tuesday night movies with her children. She was a devout Catholic. She was loving, supportive, forgiving and grateful, and cherished life.

Anna is survived by her children, Edward and Joanne Allard, Judith Allard, Donald Allard, Jean Weston Marshall and David Marshall, Kathleen and Gerardo Canet, Donna Allard (Bettencourt), Michael and Nancy Allard, Deborah and Jeffrey Naugler, Susan Allard (Hochmuth), Joyce Normand Roy and John Roy, David and Louise Allard.

She is also survived by her sisters, Delia Frederickson and Helen Lannom, and numerous nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 31, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Georgetown. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Merton E. Roberts, Jr. and Conte Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
