Evripidis Dalkouras, 85


Danvers — Evripidis G. Dalkouras, 85, of Danvers and formerly of Brockton, loving husband of the late Stella (Stavropoulos) Dalkouras, died peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Perestera, Greece on January 20, 1928, he was the son of the late George and Vaya Dalkouras. Raised in Greece he served in the Greek Army. He came to America in 1956 and settled in Brockton where he worked in a Leather Factory for 16 years. He then became a self-employed Mason until his retirement. He was known for his great sense of humor and love for gardening.

He is survived by his son, George Dalkouras and his wife, Myrna, of Danvers; his granddaughters, Deana, Stella and Anthe; his brother-in-law, George Stavropoulos and his wife, Lena; his nieces, Liz Karolemeas and Eva Stavropoulos.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services were held on Friday in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Brockton with interment in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
