Paul P. Fiore, 93


Beverly Farms — Paul P. Fiore, 93, beloved husband of the late Mary (Dettorre) Fiore, died on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Beverly Hospital.

Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Archangelo and Marie (Boccia) Fiore.

An honorably discharged and decorated veteran, he served his country during World War II as a Staff Sergeant First Division of the United States Marine Corps, having seen action in Guadalcanal, Australia and New Guinea, just to name a few.

Mr. Fiore had owned and operated P. A. Fiore Construction in Beverly until his retirement. A lifelong resident of the City of Beverly, he was a member of the American Legion Spear Post in Beverly.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine Fiore and her companion, Eric Tryder, of Beverly Farms; two sons, Paul Fiore of Beverly, and John Fiore of Peabody; four grandchildren, Steven Fiore and Meredith Fiore, both of Beverly, Heather Fiore of Topsfield, and Kirk Fiore and his wife, Kaite, of Ashville, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Will and Lidia Fiore of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Stephen and Michael Fiore.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Church, 672 Hale St., Beverly Farms, on Friday, August 30, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Beverly Farms Cemetery. As requested there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements by the Campbell–Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., North Beverly.
