Beverly, MA — Brian Louis Grey of Beverly died unexpectedly on August 29 at Beverly Hospital.
He was born in Salem on May 5, 1970 and was the devoted son of Lucy Grey of Beverly, grandson of Margaret Miedzionoski of Danvers, and brother of Robert Grey of Beverly. Brian was the beloved husband of 11 years to Amy (D'Onofrio) Grey, the loving and proud father of his son Tyler, and the caring uncle to Ryan FitzGerald of Andover. He was also very much loved and admired for his devotion to his family by his aunts and uncles, John and Donna Miedzionoski of Beverly, David and Brenda Miedzionoski of Simpsonville, S.C., and Linda Macaulay of Hamilton, Mass.; his many cousins, and his in-laws, John and Karen D'Onofrio of Middleton and Joseph and Jennifer FitzGerald of Andover.
Growing up in Beverly, Brian attended Beverly High School. He also graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and worked as manager of three separate KMarts for many years. Recently, he excelled as the stay-at-home Dad of his son Tyler.
He was predeceased by his father, Roger Grey of Beverly, and his grandfather Louis Miedzionoski of Danvers. He will be remembered most for his dedication to his family and friends. His kindness and sincerity will continue to inspire the lives of all who knew and loved him.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Mackey Funeral Home, Danvers, Mass. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
