Anita Shalit, 80


Ooltewah, TN — Anita A. Shalit, 80, of Ooltewah, Tenn., formerly of Salem, Mass., passed away, Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Auguste and Emma Theriault and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Theriault and sister, Rita Berube.

She graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a member of Saint Anne Church in Salem, Mass.

Anita worked as a waitress at General Glover House in Swampscott, Mass., and had also worked at the Sylvania Lighting Factory in Salem, Mass.

Survivors include her two children, Daniel Beaulieu of Lynn, Mass., Denise L. Godfrey of Chico, Calif.; three grandchildren, Krystal Godfrey, Shawn Beaulieu, Maria Beaulieu; three siblings, Leonne Provencher of Peabody, Mass., William Theriault of Salem, Mass., Lucille Dirubio of Paxton, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
