Salem, MA — Roberta (Sherman) Kreplick formerly of Lynn and Marblehead, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lynn, March 4, 1940, the daughter of Samuel and Mitzie (Sirkin) Sherman, she was the devoted wife of Hubert Kreplick for 53 years.
Roberta grew up in Lynn, married, and moved to Marblehead in 1962 where she and Hubert resided for 44 years, before they moved to Salem in 2006. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Boston University School of Education and Lesley University, where she earned a master’s degree in special education.
She was a professional educator at the Marblehead Middle School and at the Masconomet Regional School District.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert; and their three children, Dr. Lance W. Kreplick and wife, Jane, Margot (Kreplick) Bloom and husband, George, and Mia (Kreplick) Klein and husband, Darren. She was the proud grandmother of Alexis Kreplick, Samantha, Jessica, and Jennifer Bloom; and Benjamin, Jackson, and Andrew Klein. She was the sister to Lynnda (Sherman) Bloom and husband, Martin and to James Sherman and wife, Judith. She leaves many nephews and nieces and numerous grand nephews and nieces.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be held at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. Burial is in the Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial observance at the home of Mia and Darren Klein will be held immediately following the burial on Wednesday until 8 p.m., Thursday 6 to 8 p.m., Friday 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. A Masconomet scholarship fund has been established in her name and contributions in her memory can be made to The Roberta S.
