Barbara A. Brown, 84


Beverly, MA — Barbara Ann (Fraser) Brown, 84, wife of the late Gordon P. Brown, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Radius Healthcare in Danvers.

Born in Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane (Bowie) Fraser. She attended Melrose High School, graduating in 1947.

Mrs. Brown had been employed for many years by the City of Beverly in its City Clerk office until the time of her retirement, prior to that she had worked for Kemper Insurance.

A longtime resident of the City of Beverly, her and her husband were lifelong members of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Beverly. They enjoyed round dancing for many years with The Clamdiggers and the Old Town Squares.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Schultz of Windsor, Maine, and formerly of Beverly; a son, Kevin Brown of Perkasie, Pa.; her grandchildren, Cherie Michaud, Desiree and Erik Schultz of Beverly, Nicole Rasmussen of Beverly and Kailyn Brown of Cambridge, Mathew, Christopher and Emily Brown of Pa.; her great grandchildren, Renee Graham, Erik Michaud, Trevor Schultz and Heidi Schultz, a great-great granddaughter, Mia Rose Donovan, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Barry Brown and sister of the late Mary Jane, Mildred, Helen, Ernest, Richard, Charles, Arthur, James and Joseph.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., North Beverly.
