Rochester, N.H. — Kathleen Craveiro McKay, 65, of 7 South Elderberry Lane, died Thursday, Sept. 27, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born June 3, 1947, in Lynn, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Gladys (Demaso) Dever. She was a graduate of Saugus High School and worked many years as a technician supervisor for Millipore Corporation in Danvers. Mrs. McKay has resided in Rochester for the past six years, previously living in Somersworth, N.H. and Peabody. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed doing crafts, entertaining people and stamp collecting.
Members of her family include her husband of four years, Thomas McKay of Rochester; son, Eric Craveiro, Dover, N.H.; daughter, Kimberly Klemczuk, Brentwood, N.H.; stepdaughter, Susan Pridham, Durham, N.H.; three grandchildren, Ashlee and Brittany Klemczuk and Jessica Neves; three step-grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, and Alleigh Pridham; sister Bonnie Swain, Milton, N.H., and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Brian Craveiro of Rochester N.H.
