Lillian M. (Brennan) Taylor


Peabody — Mrs. Lillian M. (Brennan) Taylor, age 87, of Peabody, died Friday in the Rosewood Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late George C.H. Taylor, Sr.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Annie B. (Marshall) Brennan. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1943. She had been a resident of Peabody for most of her life.

Lillian was previously employed by the Sylvania Corp. in Danvers and also worked at Davco Picture Frames for over six years. She was a member of the Peabody Council on Aging but above all, she loved her family and grandchildren.

She leaves her children, George C. Taylor Jr. and his wife, Maryann, and Jeanne M. Taylor, all of Peabody. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her good friends, Dorothy Taylor and Betty Reynolds, both of Peabody. She was the mother of the late Richard J. and Donald J. Taylor and sister to the late William, James, John and Frederick Brennan, Margaret Rogato, Dorothea Campbell and Catherine Folan.

ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service will be held in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody on Monday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the main gate at 10:45 a.m. At Lillian’s request, there will be no visiting hours.
