Lynnfield, MA — Nancy Ann Holmes, 79, of Lynnfield, formerly of West Peabody, died peacefully on Monday, June 24, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Malden on May 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Florence B. Mitchell.
Nancy was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1952. She was retired from the Sears Roebuck Company, where she worked as an assistant auditor. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends
Nancy was the wife of the late David H. Holmes. She is survived by her three children, Deborah Ring and her husband, Timothy of Woburn, Sherrill Hayter and husband, Charles of North Reading, and Lisa Masella and husband, Donald of Salem; and her sister, Jeanne Jankowski of Melrose. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, David Ring of Washington, D.C., John Ring of Atlanta, Ga., Kathryn Worden and her husband, Dane of Wakefield, Christopher and Melissa Hayter of Bradford, Carolyn Kuehnel and her husband, Paul of North Attleboro, and Jessica and Jesse Heindel of Hallem, Penn.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Thursday at 9 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
