Wenham, MA — Murray P. Dwight of Wenham, Mass., and Kennebunk, Maine, died peacefully on June 22, at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; three devoted children, Jodie Stevenson, Edward Dwight and David Dwight; a son in-law, Jack Stevenson; a daughter in-law, Elisabeth Dwight; and three grandchildren, Laura Dwight, Dave Dwight and Grace Stevenson. Also surviving are his two brothers, Ted Dwight and Larry Dwight; and his sister Sally Dwight Stewart.
Murray graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1945. He graduated from Yale University in 1951 with a Bachelor of Arts in engineering, after serving two years in the U.S. Navy. After college, he ran Dwight Instrument Company for many years.
He will be remembered as a gentle, kind and loving man. We will miss him very much.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be held at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Beverly Farms, Mass., on Friday, June 28, at 11a.m., and at Saint Ann's Episcopal Church, Kennebunkport, on Monday, August 12, at 2 p.m.
