Eileen M. (Leger) Farr, 75


Beverly — Eileen M. (Leger) Farr, 75, of Beverly, died on Friday, March 14, 2014, at the NSMC/ Salem Hospital, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Dana G. Farr.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Lucien A. and Barbara (Lewalski) Leger. A graduate of St. James High School, she first worked for New England Telephone Co. in Salem. She and her husband moved to the Midwest, where she devoted her time to raising her family. She and her family returned to the North Shore in the late 1980s, and she began working for Sears in collections at the Shetland Park location.

Eileen loved her family and home, and especially enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Dana G. Farr and his wife, Karen, of Buckeye, Ariz., and Greg G. Farr of Beverly; two daughters, Lisa Farr of Beverly, and Tracy Maines of Mission Viejo, Calif.; two grandsons, Nicolas and Javier Maines of California; two sisters, Joanne C. Leger of Danvers, and Veronica Krupnik of Las Vegas, Nev.; as well as nieces and nephews.
