Powell, OH — Margaret "Peggi" (Connolly) Spiers, 60, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 6, 2014. Peggi was born in Lynn, Mass., graduating from Bishop Fenwick High School in 1971, before attending Marquette University. She currently had made her home in Columbus, Ohio.
Peggi was a dedicated stay-at-home mom and devoted wife. She spent her free time cheering Buckeye football, the Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots. Peggi reveled in her Irish and Canadian heritage.
Peggi is survived by her husband, Ron Spiers; daughters, Lauren (Michael) Hunter and Kelly Spiers; granddaughters, Abigail, Emma and Maggie Hunter; her mother, Isabel Connolly of Peabody; sisters, Maureen (Donald) Bruce, Roberta (Jay) Freshman and Kathleen (Richard) Thompson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Connolly.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass to celebrate her life was held on Friday, April 11, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Powell, Ohio.
