John "Jack" Harper Sarver, 79

Georgetown — John “Jack” Harper Sarver of Georgetown, MA, Lake Suzy, FL, and formerly of Saugus, MA – with every bit of courage, strength and perseverance that epitomized who he was as a loving husband, a supportive father, a proud grandfather, a loyal brother and a sympathetic friend — fought an unfortunate battle with cancer, and sadly at the age of 79, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013, in the comfort and serenity of his home alongside his devoted family.

Jack lived a wonderfully happy and full life, both on and off the golf course, brimming with unforgettable memories and moments created beside his beautiful and supportive wife, Dolores Ruzzo Sarver. Throughout their wondrous 55 years of marriage, he worked tirelessly to build a loving home and life for his wife, their daughter Kristen and their two sons, Kurt and Scot. Much like his generous heart, his family soon grew even larger as he welcomed in Kristen’s husband Paul, Scot’s wife Sarah, Kurt’s partner Tom and 6 beautifully precious grandchildren, Jessica, Joe and Jake Sarver, and Kyra, Julia, Lindsey D’Entremont … all the while, having his most beloved four-legged companion faithfully by his side, his dog Bella.

He also leaves behind his living sister, Jean Crum of Hastings, FL, and deceased siblings, Jessie May Bohman, Eleanor Mathis & Dwight W. Sarver.

Jack built a life and legacy that will forever live on, well past his 79 years, not only through his love, values and strong example he instilled within his family, but also through the long-lasting memories and happiness that continue to live within the hearts of those who love him the most.
