Beverly, MA — Nora A. D’Amato, 81, daughter of the late Emilio and Rose (Maccallini) D’Amato, died Tuesday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Beverly, she lived here all of her life. Nora loved to travel, especially to Italy. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox enthusiast.
Surviving her are several nieces and nephews, including; Patricia, David, Richard, Peter, Paul, and Steven Scialdone, all of Beverly, and the late Michael Scialdone, who died July 20, 2012, also of Beverly; Paula Eara of Florida, Dolores McCallum of Florida; David D’Amato of Jamaica Plain, Cynthia Jette of Ipswich, Dolly D’Amato of Beverly, Dino D’Amato of Beverly, Richard D’Amato of Beverly; Peter D’Amato of Florida, Margaret Thibideau of Beverly and Patricia Peverada of Beverly; also several great nieces and nephews. She also leaves a very special friend and caregiver, Renee Bennett Scialdone.
