Marie L. (LeClair) Lebicz, 87


SALEM — Mrs. Marie L. (LeClair) Lebicz, 87, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Alfred Lebicz, died Sunday, September 30, at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late George LeClair Sr. and Clara (Roy) LeClair. Marie was raised and educated in Salem.

A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Marie cared for all those around her. She loved children and was an adopted mother and grandmother to many. A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

Marie is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Poehler of Salem, her three loving grandchildren, Amy Poehler of Salem, Katheryne Swenbeck and her husband Donald of Salem, and Stephen Poehler Jr. of Salem, and many others who loved her dearly. In addition to her husband and parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother, George LeClair Jr. and his wife Yvette LeClair and her son-in-law, Stephen Poehler Sr.
