Beverly — Sally Maureen (O’Keefe ) White, 75, formerly of Beverly and Key Largo, Fla., beloved wife of the late Richard White, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, N.H., after a lengthy illness. Born in Lynn, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice ( Kilkenney) O’Keefe. She was raised and educated in Lynn. Sally and Dick settled in Beverly, and raised their children there. Sally was employed for many years as a waitress in many restaurants on the North Shore, including the General Glover House, among the notable places she was employed. Sally and Dick enjoyed traveling especially to Bermuda and did so often. One of her more memorable trips was with her mother, Alice, to visit family in Ireland. She enjoyed music, knitting, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Upon retiring, they moved to Key Largo, where they resided full-time. After Dick’s death, she split her time between Florida and New Hampshire. Sally will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love of all things Irish, and her loyalty to family and friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.

Surviving her are three sons, Richard White and his wife, Brenda, of Windham, N.H., Michael White and his wife, Debra, of Newburyport, and Mark White and his wife, Charlene, of Beverly; two daughters, Kathleen Crouch and her husband, James, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Lisa Winslow and her husband, Edward, of Beverly; seven grandchildren, Kristen Marroncelli and her husband, David, Heather Mandel and her husband, David, Derek White, Kelsey White, Haley White, Eric Winslow, and Ryan Winslow; two great-grandchildren, Austin Marroncelli and Macayla Mandel; a brother, Raymond O’Keefe of Marblehead; a sister, Patsy Gillis of Millis, Mass.; and a cousin, Nancy King of West Palm Beach, Fla. She was also the sister of the late James O'Keefe. Sally was predeceased by her son, Thomas Michael White.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of her life will be held at the Vittori–Rocci Post, in the lower hall, 143 Brimbal Avenue, Beverly, Mass., on Sunday, February 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
