Lynn — James Michael Cashman, age 77, of Lynn, died on Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, Bedford, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Baker) Cashman, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.
A lifelong resident of Lynn, he was the son of the late Michael H. and Jennie (Murphy) Cashman. He attended St. Mary’s Grammar School, and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1955.
He had worked as a union bricklayer out of Massachusetts Bricklayers and Masons Local 12. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Ossipee, N.H., taking care of his home and yard, and spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events, especially hockey.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Kerri Pinho and her husband James, of N. Andover, Christopher Cashman and his wife Lori, of E. Kingston, N.H., Susan Cashman and Chad Abramson, of Lunenburg, and Katie Henderson and her husband Glenn, of Ipswich; a sister, Rose Marino and her husband Peter, of Peabody; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Brian, and Caroline Pinho, Michael, Corbin, and Christina Cashman, and Charlie and Amanda Henderson, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Arlene Roy.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte. 129), Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hour’s Monday 4-8 p.m.
