Peabody MA — Nancy L. (Hall) Thraisvoulos, 80, of Peabody died peacefully Thursday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the loving wife of 56 years to retired Peabody Firefighter Theodore “Teddy” Thrasivoulos. She was born in Salem, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Leola (Goodwin) Hall. Raised in Salem, she graduated from Salem High School. In 1957, she entered and won the Miss Salem beauty contest. Nancy loved to sew and take trips down to Salem Willows. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed surfcasting in the waters at Plum Island and Martha’s Vineyard. She also loved to travel to Europe, and had gone to Bermuda five times on Mother’s Day. Her most enjoyment was in the raising of her two children.
She is survived by her husband, Teddy; a son, John Thrasivoulos of Peabody; and a daughter, Roxana Thrasivoulos and her companion, Joseph McLean, both of North Reading.
ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
