Salem, MA — Priscilla G. "Pat" (LeBrun) Michaud, 97, of Salem, died on Friday, December 21, at the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers. She was the wife of thirty years to the late George E. Michaud Sr.
Born September 2, 1915, daughter of Harry and Yvonne ( Demers ) LeBrun, "Pat" attended Ste. Chretienne Academy of Salem, and Villa Augustina in NH. An athletic lady all her life, she rode horses, played tennis, enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening and continued to bowl well into her late 80s. She also took on business responsibilities after her husband passed away with the running of Leach Street Motors with her son George.
Pat loved baking and cooking for her 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sons; George Michaud, Jr of Salem and Douglas Michaud of Haverhill, a daughter Lynda Michaud Cutrell of Marblehead and a son-in-law Stanley Poirier of Salem.
Mrs. Michaud was predeceased by her husband George and daughter Priscilla "Pat " Poirier, and a grandson, Stephen Poirier, all of Salem.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St., Salem, MA (Rt.1A/114) Friday from 3-7 pm. A funeral Mass will be held in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave., Salem, Saturday at 10 am. Burial will be private. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Priscilla Michaud's name to her charity of choice www.NAMImass.org.
