Linda (Abbruzzese) Baum


Lynn — Linda (Abbruzzese) Baum, age 67, of Lynn, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, in the Kaplan Family Hospice of Danvers. Linda was born in Lynn on March 20, 1945, the daughter of the late Arthur Abbruzzese and Marjorie Perry Berube.

She leaves her beloved sons, John Malone and his wife Janine of Wellesley and Michael Malone and his wife Lisa of Lynn, cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Matthew Malone of Wellesley and Thomas John “T.J.” Malone of Lynn. She also leaves her brother Paul Berube of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and several cousins, including Nancy Halupowski, with whom she had a close relationship.

She lived most of her life in Lynn, and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1962. She worked in reservations for Delta Airlines, and later as a clerk for the Essex County Registry of Deeds in Salem. She was a member of Gannon Golf Course in Lynn where she had many wonderful friends. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed many vacations to Europe as well as trips to Cape Cod with her family. Family was most important to Linda, and she cherished spending the holidays with them.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt129), Lynn, on Wednesday, January 9th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, Lynn, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 8, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
