Salem — Douglas "Doug" Trent Bardsley, age 42, of Salem, passed away Sunday January 27, 2013. He was the husband of Dianne Susan Kendrick Bardsley, with whom he shared twenty seven years. Doug was born and raised in Waltham, and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1988. Prior to his illness, he was a chef, working at various restaurants, most recently D'Angelo's. He enjoyed helping people out, and making sure the elderly were ready for winter. He loved music, Tiger Woods golf and playing golf, camping, fishing, boating, wood work, and especially his nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Doug is survived by his father and step-mother, Bruce and Maryanne Bardsley of Holden, his mother and step-father, Charlene Theriault and Russell Osborne of Framingham, his grandmother Margaret Douglas of Waltham, one brother Derik and his wife Ellis Bardsley of Concord, NH, two sisters, Lisa Bardsley and Jennifer Theriault, both of the Cape, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lenny and Hazel Bardsley, his mother-in- law Alzetta Kendrick Jordan, two brothers-in-law, Weston Leon Kendrick Sr. and David Kendrick Sr., and his sister-in-law Ada Kendrick Ball. ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Monday 12:30. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is also Monday, beginning at 10 a.m.
