Lucienne (Daly) Pelletier, 92


Danvers — Lucienne (Daly) Pelletier, age 92, of Danvers, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Roger Pelletier.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Emilia (Ouellette) Daly. Lucy first worked for the former CBS Hytron of Salem and for over 29 years was a production supervisor for EG&G also of Salem. A gracious and active woman, she was a former president of the Greater Salem Business & Professional Women’s Association as well as a member of the Reading Business and Professional Women’s Assoc. She was member of the Degree of Pocahontas, VFW Peabody Post and formerly Danvers and the Women’s Friend Society of Salem. Lucy was a faithful member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish of Danvers, and was a former Regent for the Catholic Daughters of America.

Lucy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was devoted to her very large extended family and many friends. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her son Roger R. Pelletier and his wife Cathy of Danvers, two brothers, Ernest L. Daly and his wife Rose of Salem, Roger Daly and his wife Phyllis of Townsend, two sisters-in-law, Mary Daly of Salem and Esther Daly of Danvers, 4 grandchildren, Michelle & Richard Brunning, Michel & Susan Pelletier, Rebecca & John Shaffer and Melissa Pelletier & Ryan Gagnon. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Sydney & Ashley Pelletier, Corinna & Nicholas Brunning, Raicheal and Micah Shaffer as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edmond, Robert, Edward and Roland Daly and her sisters, Rita Bergeron and Lorraine Brown.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 9 A.M. in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers.

Visiting hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. (Rte. 114 / 1-A) Salem, are on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers.
