Richard L. Scotti, 73


Reading, MA — Mr. Richard L. Scotti passed away on Wednesday, surrounded by his family, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, He was 73. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Oscar R. Scotti and Louise (Cloyd) Renard. Richard was a retired electronics technician and had worked for a number of firms, including EMC, Honeywell and Teradyne. Prior to that, he was employed for several years by St. Johnsbury Trucking. He enjoyed working on computers, but mostly enjoyed time spent with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his two daughters; Debra J Scotti of Salem; Julie M. Shelsy and her husband, Brad, of Hingham; his brothers, Paul Renard of Florida, and Gary Renard of California; his sister Janice Colacey of Florida; and his grandchildren, Caroline and Will Shelsy of Hingham. He is also survived by his beloved uncle, William G. Scotti, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, John E. Scotti.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., North Beverly, Monday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
