Nancy E. Hansbury


Saugus, MA — Nancy E. Hansbury, died on July 13, age 67, as the result of an automobile accident. She was the partner of the late Judith E. Anderson.

Raised in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Catherine (Dobbins) Hansbury.

Nancy was a resident of Saugus since 1985 and was a former employee of Liberty Mutual Insurance. For the past 16 years, she was employed with the Continuing Education Division at North Shore Community College in Beverly and was looking forward to retirement in September.

She loved star watching, relaxing in her peaceful backyard, and spending time at the Cape. Her most loving task was caring for her pets; Annie, Charlie and Marbles.

Nancy is survived by her brother, William Hansbury of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nephews and nieces, Griffin Hansbury of New York City, Michael Hansbury of Boston, Maureen Vahey of Newton, Brian Quinn of Middleton, and Stephen Quinn of Lowell; great-nephew Aidan Vahey; and brother-in-law, James Quinn. She is also survived by her loving extended family of Andersons.

Nancy was the sister of the late John “Jack” Hansbury and Jean Quinn.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours on Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m., both to be held at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, MA. Relatives and friends invited.
