Anna B. Hunt, 89

Ipswich — Anna B. Hunt, 89, wife of the late C. Robert Hunt, died Friday morning February 22, 2013, after a short illness, at her home in Ipswich, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Salem on February 4, 1924, to the late Bertha and William Addis Connolly of Salem.

Mrs. Hunt leaves her 2 daughters: Sharon Coletti of Marblehead and her fiancé Jamie Burns, and Carol Ann Lucey of Stuart, FL. She was also preceded in death by her brother Richard Connolly, formerly of Danvers, and by her son Robert Hunt, formerly of Florida. She also leaves her sister Claire Leahy of Salem and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hunt is survived by her 8 grandchildren: Christine and her husband Douglas Waitt, David and his wife Lisa Levesque, Stephanie Killian, Julie and her husband Vincent Martineau, Eric and his wife Nicole Levesque and Scott Coletti, all of Ipswich, Meredith Levesque of Lynn, Bradley and his wife Heather Coletti of San Diego, CA, and also her dear friend Doris Mazzola of Ipswich. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren: Samantha, Matthew, Jake, Adam, Connor, Madison, Vincent, Emily, Owen, Laura Elizabeth, Nola, Max and Ava.

Mrs. Hunt was a graduate of St. Mary’s Grammar and High School in Salem. She was employed for 16 years as Secretary to the late Mayor of Salem Francis X. Collins. She also worked for 10 years at the Salem Five Cents Savings Bank in Salem. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and making Christmas ornaments for all.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 27th, at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Tuesday February 26th, from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Morris Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Ipswich. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Mrs. Hunt will be laid to rest at a later date at the Curlew Memory Garden in Dunedin, FL.
