Beverly — Frances Gross "Fran" passed away March 6, in Florida after a period of illness.
Fran was the beloved wife of Saul Gross for 62 years. They met on July 4, 1947, and were together ever since. Fran was a 1948 graduate of Chelsea High School. In the early 1960's Fran and Saul moved to Beverly where Saul was a teacher at Beverly High School for 30 plus years and Fran was a homemaker raising three boys. In 1994, when Saul retired, they moved to Delray Beach, Fla., where they enjoyed many years of Florida living.
Fran is survived by her loving husband, Saul and sons, Eric, Kurt, and Scott. Fran also leaves behind daughters-in-law, Rachel and Dawn, as well as five grandchildren, Alexa, Max, Talia, Drew, and Tyler. Fran will be missed forever by all that knew and loved her.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service for friends and family will be held Monday, March 11, 1 p.m., at Stanetsky's Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem. A burial will be held following the service in Middleton. A shiva will be held at the home of Scott and Rachel Gross following the burial until 8 p.m and continuing Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.
