Provincetown, MA — Kathleen Viola “Kathy” Zimmerman, R.N., M.A. of Provincetown, died peacefully at home on Dec. 17, 2012, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. A healing spirit to both humans and animals, she considered her greatest role to be a nurse educator, having been a college nursing professor in New Jersey for the first half of her life. She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Kay Kusma of Gloucester, Mass., Karen Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz.; niece, Danielle Sost; and grand-nephew, Jackson Sost of Burbank, Calif.; nephew, Al dos Santos of Gloucester, Mass.; and nieces and nephew, Tracy Hughes, Terry Jones, Jamie Lewis, and Todd Van Buren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Kathy’s life at St. Mary of the Harbor Church, 517 Commercial St., Provincetown, Mass., on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m.
