Topsfield — Paul F. Jackman, 84, died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 10, 2013, at Golden Living Center, of natural causes.
Born in Lynn on August 25, 1928, he was the son of the late Frederick and Katherine (Wood) Jackman. A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he served in the 765th AC & W Squadron, and was honorably discharged in May of 1954. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration at Boston University in 1957, worked in the aerospace industry, and then as a self-employed businessman. Paul also ran for 1st Essex and Middlesex district’s State Senate seat in 1978.
He is survived by his former spouse, Barbara Buonaugurio, of Methuen; his three children, Stephen F. Jackman and his wife, Karla, of Bradford, Susan N. (Jackman) Sisolak, and James M. Jackman and his wife, Maureen, all of Topsfield; five grandchildren, Sarah (Jackman) Guy, Danica (Sisolak) Drouin, Ethan Sisolak Jordan, and Matthew Jackman; and great-grandson, Justin Guy.
ARRANGEMENTS: All family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life social scheduled for Sunday, July 21, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Jackman home, 18 Forrest Road, Topsfield.
