Salem — Mrs. Helen E. (Laramie) Madore, of Salem, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Salem Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Bertrand J. Madore, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Born in Laconia, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Clement) Laramie. She worked as an Assembler for Champion Lamp Co. for 41 years. Helen was a Communicant of Ste. Anne’s Church in Salem for many years.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Douglas Madore of Byfield and Mary Ann Madore of Salem. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Theresa Fontaine of Salem and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Donald B. Madore; brothers, Clement, Walter and William Laramie; and sisters, Rachel O’Connor, Alma Raiche and Arline Turgeon.
ARRANGEMENTS: Mrs. Madore’s funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Friday at 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in Ste. Anne’s Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
