Marion (Mickey) Corsa Williams, 93


Rhinebeck, NY — Marion C. Williams, 93, peacefully went to be with our Lord on December 5, 2013. She was the daughter of Clarence and Louisa (Tamargo) Corsa and wife of Sanford H. Williams who predeceased her in May 1992.

Marion was born in Pinelawn, NY, January 16, 1920, and raised on her family farm in Melville, NY. During WWII, she worked for Ranger Aircraft. On June 2, 1946, she married Sanford H. Williams. Marion was a great homemaker who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her husband, and family. Waldoboro and Rhinebeck United Methodist Churches were her church homes. Sanford and Marion retired to Maine in 1979 where she lived until 2003. From 2003 until the present, Mickey was lovingly cared for by her children and their spouses.

Marion is survived by her children, Nina L. Doyle and her husband, David, and John S. Williams and his wife, Darleen; four grandsons, Matthew L. Doyle and his wife, Jennifer, Nathan J. Williams, Jordan D. Williams and his wife, Bethany, and Seth A. Williams and his wife, Krystal; and two great-grandsons, Quinn M. Doyle and Matthias J. Williams. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Kenneth Williams and his family.

ARRANGEMENTS: A service of celebration of Marion’s life will be held at the Waldoboro United Methodist Church in Waldoboro, ME on Monday, December 9, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Waldoboro United Methodist Church, Rhinebeck United Methodist Church, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
