Donald Paul Camire, 59

Salem, MA — Mr. Donald “Dino” Paul Camire, 59, of Salem, died unexpectedly at his home, on Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of Lionel R. Camire of Peabody and the late Ann A. (Tower) Camire. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem High School.

A long-time resident of Salem, Dino was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during peace time, he was the recipient of many awards including the good conduct medal and he was very active in veteran affairs. He was a lover of jigsaw puzzles and would often times glue and frame his finished masterpieces. Working well with his hands, he was very creative and enjoyed doing finished carpentry and silk screening.

In addition to his father, Dino is survived by his daughter, Danielle Camire of Foxboro; his sisters Claudette Erban and Elaine Walker; his brothers, Robert, Richard, Walter and Thomas Camire.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq. (at Salem Common), Salem, Wednesday, May 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. As requested, burial in St. Mary's Cemetery is private.
