DELTONA, FL — Clarence J. Ostalkiewicz, 87, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Salem, Mass., and Providence, R.I., died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Florida. He was the husband of the late Grayce B. (Stockton) Ostalkiewiccz.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Vincenty and Marta Ostalkiewicz. He was a graduate of Bentley School of Accounting and Finance and Northeastern University, Boston, where he received both his bachelor's and master's degrees.
Mr. Ostalkiewicz proudly served his country during WWII in the Air Force.
He had 35 years of experience in business as a corporate officer. In addition, and as a hobby, he liked to design and build houses for family members. But he was most passionate with his work as a teacher, speaker and evangelist. He wrote professional manuscripts and newspaper editorials and in his retirement he wrote and published six books. It was his love and joy to just give them away wherever he was. He served on missions to Jamaica, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Haiti.
He is survived by daughters, Stephanie and Barbara; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Ostalkiewicz; and was predeceased by a son, John Ostalkiewicz.
