Robert S. Lang, 62


Boxford — Mr. Robert S. Lang, 62, formerly of Topsfield, beloved husband of Christine (Collins) Lang, died Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by his family.

Born in Phoenix, AZ, he was the son of Joseph and Helen (Raich) Lang of La Jolla, CA, he was raised and educated in Andover and Atkinson, NH, graduating from Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, NH. He continued his education and earned his degree from Norwich University class of 1972.

Mr. Lang had been employed for the past twenty one years at WSI in Andover. A longtime resident of Topsfield before moving to Boxford ten years ago, Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife with whom he shared thirty one years of marriage and his parents, he is survived by his five loving children, Daniel Lang and his wife, Ashley of Somerville, Kaitlyn Lang of Somerville, Elizabeth Lang of Boxford, Robert Lang Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Windsor Locks, CT, and Julianne Thomas and her husband, Mark of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren, Chase and Connor Thomas, Jake, Cooper and Anna Lang.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Rose of Lima Church, 12 Park St., Topsfield, Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell–Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location), Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield.
