Frank Firicano, 86

Lynnfield or Peabody — Frank J. Firicano, 86, beloved husband of the late Evelyn (McDonough) Firicano, and also the late Maria (Perez Frias) Firicano, died peacefully at his home Friday morning, October 26, following a long illness.

Born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Christina (Mamone) Firicano. He lived there as a young boy, then immigrated to the United States with his family, settling in the North End of Boston for many years. Frank was a member of the Mass Police Association, and also enjoyed playing poker and other card games. He lived for his family and was happiest when surrounded by them, great Italian food, lively conversation, and Frank Sinatra’s music. The sea and fishing were lifelong passions. His life was long and full of love, loss, happiness and above all, family. He always had a story to tell. Now we will be the ones telling the stories about him and his life.
