Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA — Barbara J. Plummer, 64, entered into rest, surrounded by family, on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
She was a loving mother, sister, family member, and friend to many. Before her retirement in 2010, she worked for 38 years at the North Shore Community College of Danvers.
She celebrated life by traveling, going to musical concerts, spending time on the beautiful beaches of New England, and connecting with her friends at local restaurants. Her passion for animals led her to volunteer at the Northeast Animal Shelter and support local humane societies.
She leaves behind her son, Christopher Plummer of Boston; her sister, Carol Chapman and husband, Keith, of Salem, Mass.; her sister, Janice Lafreniere of Peabody, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Eyberse of Manchester-by-the-Sea.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at the Campbell–Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, on Friday, November 15, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday, from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Manchester-by-the-Sea.
