Kathleen Miller, 64

Webster and Ipswich — Kathleen Miller, 64, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary A. (Flaherty) Miller, died Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013. She was born in Beverly on July 14, 1948.

“Angelica” Kathleen

Annmarie M. Hughes – Christmas 1995

She’s mesmerizing,

A beautifully pure woman child.

Engulfed with a beguiling aura of innocence.

A chameleon goes through metamorphosis;

She does not.

She is God’s child,

Spared of resentments, prejudice and hate,

Entrenched with the wholesomeness of a dove,

Unique in her spontaneity,

She is teaching me how to love.

Communication is verbally eluded,

Her thoughts unknown.

An abyss of wonder.

What’s locked away in her heavy heart?

What musings do her eyes forsee?

Existential loneliness?

Perhaps a Utopia? Realistically not.

Surrounded by a world of knowledge and noise.

A sense of nocturnalness,

Albeit to loneliness,

Exhibiting an infinite dimensions; dignity, courage, strength,

She is an observer,

A viewer of life.

And we are told that our life has a purpose.

Often times transcending human understanding.

Mysteries of our lives can haunt us.

Who are we – our derivation?

Who are we – our destination?

Parallels of abuse;

She prevails.

I am not to question, “why?’

For she does not.

I musn’t harbour feelings of vengeance and despair,

For she does not.

Angelica Kathleen,

A deity from above,

She has taught me how to love.
