Georgetown – Stephen M. Foustoukos, 52, husband of Ann Marie (Vovakis) Foustoukos, died Wednesday night, February 8, 2012 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a brief illness. Born in Ipswich on August 7, 1959 he was the son of the late Michael C. and Mary (Nikas) Foustoukos.
Stephen was raised and educated in Ipswich, he was a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1977. He then entered Norwich University in Northfield, VT and was a graduate, Class of 1981. Upon his graduation from Norwich, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force and began his 12-year career. He was a veteran of the Gulf War and retired at the rank of Captain. During his military career Stephen received his MBA from Bentley University. After his retirement from the Air Force he started his career as an investment and financial planner until the time of his passing. Stephen was a life-long member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodo Church of Ipswich, he was very active in the Church. He was beloved by all who knew him.
Stephen is survived by, in addition to his wife Ann Marie of Georgetown, his beloved children to whom he was a proud father: Michael Foustoukos of Maine, Laurie Foustoukos also of Maine and Matthew Foustoukos of Georgetown. Stephen was also a loving nephew of: Ernest and Barbara Nikas, James and Sirmo Nikas and Sophia Nikas, all of Ipswich, and he is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Stephen was also predeceased by his sister Karen S. Foustoukos formerly of Lynn.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held Monday, February 13th at 10:00 A.M. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church 8 Lafayette Road, Ipswich. Burial will follow with military honors in the New Highland Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Sunday February 12th. from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
