Peabody — Kathy Cook, 57, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Tuesday evening at her home. She was the wife of Larry Cook of Effingham, N.H. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Doris Campbell of Peabody and the late, Gene F. Campbell. She has lived in Peabody for the past 45 years.
Kathy owned and operated her own store, KC Novelties in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts for many years before her illness. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and during the holiday season she enjoyed making kissing balls and wreaths. Kathy enjoyed the Native American Culture and participated in many Pow Wows in the region.
Besides her husband Larry, she is survived by her children, Adam Cook, and Angel MacDonald and her husband, Frank; her brothers, Jimmy Adams, and Junior Adams and his wife, Arleen, all of Peabody; and by her nieces and nephews, Amy and her husband, James Taylor, Emily and her husband, Johnny DePlacido, Katie, James Jr., and Derek Adams, and Richard Thorne; and by a great-nephew, James Taylor, Jr. She was the sister of the late Richie Campbell.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
