Danvers — Mrs. Janice May (Hersom) Cunningham, 88, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late James Henry Cunningham, died September 23, 2012, at Essex Park Nursing and Retirement Home in Beverly.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Arline (Dunton) Hersom. She was raised and educated in Bangor, Maine. She resided in Maine until the time she met the love of her life, her husband John, and they moved to Massachusetts.
A longtime resident of the Town of Danvers, Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Janice is survived by her daughters, Colleen Cunningham of Beverly and Karen Mitchell and her husband Carl of Newbury; her grandchildren, Heather Goodwin and her husband Ryan, Jarod Mitchell and Jason Mitchell and her great-grandson Liam Goodwin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62), Danvers, Monday, October 1st, at 12 noon. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours prior to the funeral service from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon.
