Joseph F. Kobierski, 70


Salem — Joseph F. Kobierski, 70, of Salem and formerly of Gloucester passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 24, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Lorna (Griffin) Kobierski.

Born in Salem, Joe was educated there and went on to work with his father on the coal boats. He later became a self employed lobsterman and prior to retirement, he worked with the Mass Laborers Union in the paving industry for thirty years.

Joe was an active parishioner of St. John the Baptist Polish American Church in Salem. He enjoyed walking his dog Lele.

Joseph was the son of Stanislaus and Mary (Bialecki) Kobierski.
