Beverly — Thomas R. Foley, 75, beloved husband of Irene G. (Pasch) Foley, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Beverly Hospital.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Stapleton) Foley.
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Class of 1960, Mr. Foley was the founder and CEO of Visual Technology Incorporated and Datawatch Corporation in Massachusetts. Prior to residing in Beverly for the past thirty-four years, he lived on Long Island and in New Jersey. Mr. Foley enjoyed golf and billiards, coaching little league sports, playing with his grandchildren, and had a great love for automobiles. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, with whom he shared fifty-four years of marriage, he is survived by his children, Scott Foley of Peabody, Sharon Foley of Philadelphia, PA, Thomas Foley and his wife, Geraldine Griffin, of Beverly, and Peggy Foley and her husband, Patrick Foley, of Newburyport; five grandchildren, Sean, Megan, Wendy, Caroline, and Jane; a sister, Clare (Foley) Mocek of Clifton, NJ; a brother, Robert Foley of Graham, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Monday, March 17, 2014, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
