Rita M. LeBlanc, 92


Beverly — Rita M. LeBlanc, 92, beloved wife of the late Robert J. LeBlanc, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House with family at her side. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Aristide and Bertha (Desrosier) St. Pierre.

Rita grew up in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. She was a devoted wife and mother. Rita was dedicated to giving her sons values and education, and worked diligently to support them throughout her life. She was a huge Boston College Fan, loved attending BC football games and watching all of the Boston sports teams on TV.

She was the mother of Robert D. LeBlanc and his wife, Margaret, of Southport, NC; the late Richard R. LeBlanc and daughter-in-law, Claire V. LeBlanc of Exeter, NH. She was the sister of Jeanette Darcy of FL and the late Mary Jane Maguire. She was the devoted friend of Yvonne G. LeBrun. She had five grandchildren, Chantal J. LeBlanc, Danielle A. LeBlanc, Richard R. LeBlanc, Robert J. LeBlanc and Ronald D. LeBlanc; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch St., Beverly, on Wednesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., North Beverly, Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
