Audrey E. (Hudson) Kinney


Lynn — Mrs. Audrey E. (Hudson) Kinney, 81, of Lynn, died Saturday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Osmond A. Kinney, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, Audrey was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie F. (White) Hudson. She attended Lynn schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School.

Prior to her retirement in 1993, she had worked for over 22 years as a stocker at Rich’s Department Store. She was previously employed by North American Electrical.

Audrey enjoyed attending ceramics at the former Viking Ceramics in Lynn. She also greatly enjoyed Christmas get-togethers with her entire family.

In addition to her husband, she leaves one brother and two sisters, Donald H. Hudson of Lynn, Barbara G. Mitchell of Lynn, and Constance A. McCarthy of Louisville, Ky. She was the sister-in-law of Larry Langevain of Nahant, Judy Hudson of Lynn, LuFern Hudson of Westerly, R.I., Helen Hudson of Salem, and Lincoln Kinney of Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Audrey and Osmond’s neighbors, Charlotte and David Hill. She was the sister of the late Donna H. Langevain, Charles E. Hudson, Kenneth D. Hudson, Richard G. Hudson, and Priscilla J. Cobb, and sister-in-law to the late Virginia Poirier.

ARRANGEMENTS: Audrey’s Funeral Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
